Human Resources Security Policy

  • Jungle Tech Corporation – Human Resources Security Policy

  • Version: 1.0 | Last Updated: March 13, 2026

  • 1. Purpose

  • The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all Jungle Tech Corporation employees and contractors are adequately vetted and understand their security responsibilities throughout their tenure—from recruitment to termination.

  • 2. Scope

  • This policy applies to all full-time employees, part-time employees, contractors, and founding members of Jungle Tech Corporation.

  • 3. Pre-Employment Screening

  • To ensure the integrity of our workforce and the security of client data, all candidates must undergo a mandatory background screening process prior to receiving an offer of employment or being granted access to the Azure production environment.

  • The screening process includes:

  • Identity Verification: Validation of government-issued identification.

  • Criminal Background Checks: Review of multi-state and international criminal records.

  • Employment History: Verification of the last 5–7 years of professional experience.

  • Educational Background: Confirmation of degrees and professional certifications.

  • Drug Testing: Candidates must pass a standard 5-panel or 10-panel drug screen.

  • Reference Checks: Contacting professional references to confirm technical competency and character.

  • Note: All current founding staff have been internally vetted to meet these standards.

  • 4. Onboarding and Security Awareness

  • Security is a condition of employment at Jungle Tech. Upon hire, all personnel must:

  • Acknowledge Policies: Formally review and sign the Information Security Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

  • Initial Training: Complete a security orientation covering phishing, credential hygiene in Microsoft Entra ID, and the protection of client data.

  • Confidentiality: Sign a legally binding Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Intellectual Property (IP) Assignment Agreement.

  • 5. Ongoing Security Training

  • Jungle Tech maintains a continuous culture of awareness through:

  • Annual Training: Mandatory security refresher courses for all staff.

  • Regular Briefings: Periodic updates on the threat landscape relevant to our VR services and cloud infrastructure.

  • Immediate Communication: Critical updates to security procedures are communicated immediately via internal channels to ensure constant alignment with GDPR and NIST requirements.

  • 6. Disciplinary Process

  • Compliance with security policies is mandatory. Any employee who willfully violates security protocols or mishandles client data will be subject to a formal disciplinary process, which may include:

  • Security re-training and coaching.

  • Temporary suspension of system access.

  • Termination of employment.

  • 7. Termination and Offboarding

  • Upon the end of a worker's relationship with Jungle Tech:

  • Immediate Revocation: Access to all systems (Azure, Email, GitHub, Slack) is revoked within 24 hours (or immediately for involuntary terminations).

  • Asset Return: All company-owned hardware (laptops, VR headsets) must be returned.

  • Post-Employment Obligations: Employees are reminded of their continuing confidentiality obligations under their signed NDA.
