Jungle Tech Corporation – Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Purpose
-
This policy outlines the acceptable use of Jungle Tech Corporation’s information systems. These rules are in place to protect the employee, the Company, and our partners from illegal or damaging actions.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and consultants at Jungle Tech who use company-provided hardware, software, or cloud services (Azure).

3. General Use and Ownership

Business Property: All data created on company systems—including 3D models, AI training sets, and source code—remains the sole property of Jungle Tech.

Personal Use: Brief and occasional personal use of company devices is permitted, provided it does not interfere with job performance or compromise system security.

Privacy Expectation: Users should have no expectation of privacy when using company-issued devices or cloud accounts. Jungle Tech reserves the right to audit and monitor all systems.

4. Security and Proprietary Information

Credential Sharing: Sharing of passwords or MFA tokens is strictly prohibited.

Encryption: Users must not disable security software, including BitLocker, antivirus, or Microsoft Defender agents.

Data Handling: Sensitive 3D assets and AI weights must only be stored in approved Azure Blob Storage environments. Storing company data on personal cloud drives (e.g., personal Dropbox or Google Drive) is forbidden.

5. Unacceptable Use

Under no circumstances is a user authorized to engage in any activity that is illegal or damaging to the reputation of Jungle Tech. Prohibited activities include:

Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access AI models or datasets for which the user has not been granted explicit RBAC permissions.

Intellectual Property Theft: Unauthorized copying or distribution of Jungle Tech’s 3D visualization pipelines or code.

Malicious Activity: Using company resources to engage in hacking, phishing, or the transmission of malware.

Harassment: Using communication channels (Slack, Email) to transmit derogatory, harassing, or offensive content.

6. Remote Work & Device Security

Public Wi-Fi: Employees working remotely must use a secure connection or company-approved VPN when accessing the Azure environment.

Physical Safety: Laptops and 3D rendering hardware must not be left unattended in public places.

Screen Locking: The Clear Screen Policy must be followed; screens must be locked whenever the workstation is unoccupied.

7. Software Installation

Authorized Software: Users may only install software required for business purposes. The installation of unlicensed software or "cracked" 3D plugins is strictly prohibited as it poses a significant malware risk to our AI environment.

8. Enforcement

Any employee found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment and civil or criminal legal action.
